|Ai launches new log viewing facility|
|Savyon, Israel -- April 28, 2004 - Artificial Intelligence Research (Ai) |
(http://www.a-i.com) announced today the launch of a new log viewing facility for Windows XP users.
The new facility enables online viewing ("eavesdropping") of live sessions with Alan and Ai's other virtual personalities. This new service includes optional speech synthesis (with adjustable voices and fonts), with Karaoke-style highlighting.
User sessions are visible to the public if and only if explicit permission was given by the user to publish the session. Users are encouraged to provide such permission at an early stage of the dialog, so other users can join in.
The new service applies to all current sessions (last 6 hours). Older sessions can be viewed on the Alan logs page.
To enable the new service, go to http://monitor.a-i.com/abramonitor.exe, and log in with username alanguest and password alanrocks. System requirements: Windows XP with DotNet 1.1. To adjust security setting, Run the following command from the command prompt: C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.1.4322\caspol -ag 1 -site monitor.a-i.com FullTrust -name "AbraMonitor"
Reading sessions performed by other users is an effective way of getting to know Alan and HAL, and gain insight on training and interacting with them.
Artificial Intelligence Research (Ai) is a groundbreaking research project, focusing on creating genuine Artificial Intelligence – the technology that enables machines to converse with humans in natural language. Ai's research facility is located in Savyon, Israel.
