|LMC2 Game Submission Update|

(http://www.a-i.com) announced today that only two participants have submitted game programs for the LMC2 competition.
The Official Rules of the Second Learning Machine Challenge stipulate that the competition will be held with a minimum of 10 participants. In light of the slow participation in the first (Game Submission) phase, potential participants are urged to consider the possibility that LMC2 will be cancelled, should the number of entries be less than 10.
As announced, the final deadline for entries to the Second Learning Machine Challenge is October 31, 2002. The number of entrants shall be announced on November 1st, 2002.
The official rules of the competition and all related information about the Learning Machine Challenge is available from the LMC2 Website section, which includes a downloadable test suite, with the judge program that will be used to run the tournament, model games and simple player programs, and a complete SDK.
